Plastic Bag Dryer DIY

On Apartment Therapy I saw a plastic bag dryer, but it was $20, and I thought that was a great idea but I could spend my money on better things. Then they recomended this DIY version. Put rice or beans in a jar, insert bamboo skewers and voila! This one sits by my sink now and my bags dry faster. Thanks AT.

This is great! I'm going to try this. I plan to use a shorter jar, because i have chop sticks (the cheap ones from a Chinese restaurant), and they're not very long. I will also use a non-food product in the jar, like glass gems. I have found other DIY suggestions for bag dryers, and one involved using a toothbrush holder as the base. So the next time i see one at a thrift store, i may just get it and use that instead. I am also looking for a similar solution of how to hang up my dishwashing gloves to dry. ~ Emily
