I don't even know exactly what the letterpress process involves, I just know it looks neat on cards and stationary. I ran across this store searching through Amber Favorite's site (that's her real name). The store is the Evanston Print & Paper Shop and they offer workshops, studio space, equipment, etc., all involved in printing and bookbinding. I feel a new obsession coming on...
